LOL, a bug, in our software? Never, got to be the hardware!

I wonder if anyone running another OS on the same system might gets the same issue?
If they do, it’s hardware. But my money would be on a Windows S/W error.

Is timeGetTime effected?

Seems more of a hardware problem in the PC architecture, which isn’t too bright either. Linux could have a similar problem, I think.

Its an old problem, and Linux could have the same problem if it used the same fundamental mechanism for determining time, but it doesn’t.

I don’t know if timeGetTime is based on QueryPerformanceCounters — not that Windows savvy ;)
