Lucas Arts has announced “Clone Wars Adventures”. The in-game footage looks vaguely familiar. Is this SWGs redemption?

I’ll take ‘Free Realms Ripoffs’ for 300 Alex!
If they’re going to directly compete with bioware’s old republic with THAT… I wish them the best of luck.
Since Lucas is behind both, I don’t think they’re competing so much as hedging bets. For a start, this targets a very different audience, and I suspect it is making heavy re-use of the SWG engine. In which case, it’s more of a potential salvage operation than anything else.
